Sofia Vergara, best remembered for her role in ABC's hit sitcom Modern Family, was seen spending New Year's Eve with her new fiancee Joe Manganiello of True Bloodfame inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas enjoying Britney Spear's Piece of Me show. Alongside them, at the same table were Arnold Scharzeneggar and his date Heather Milligan, reports TMZ. Hours earlier, Vergara and Manganiello were seen arriving at the Los Angeles airport from their Christmas vacation in Hawaii.
Vergara, 42, got engaged with Manganiello, 38, on Christmas Eve, reportedly at sunset inside their suite at the St. Regis Hotel in Princeville Resort, Kauai, Hawaii, according to People. Later that day, Vergara was seen sporting an enormous engagement ring, said to be worth somewhere in the vicinity of $500,000 by Hollywood Life. Days later, on Manganiello's birthday, December 28, she shared on her Instagram account a picture of them together in loving embrace. In the caption to her post, she said: "Happy happy bday to my love and best friend. To the one that makes me laugh like crazy! Have a healthy wonderful year babe!!! @JoeManganiello."
Vergara's ex-fiancee Nick Loeb, when asked for his reaction, told US Weekly: "She is beautiful and majestic and therefore to be loved. Beyond all else in life she deserves happiness, the kind that only true love can bring." However, when asked again this time by Hollywood Life, he replied: "I hope they use Pickle Crunch on the wedding cake."Pickle Crunch is among the products of the Crunchy Condiment Company of which he is the owner and founder. He and Vergara ended their engagement just last May. Vergara herself made the announcement via her WhoSay page where she wrote: "Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtfull drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart."
Vergara was previously married to her high-school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez, with whom she has a son, Manolo, who is now 22 years old.
