James Bond “Spectre” ending is a disaster according to a leaked script following Sony’s hacking
With the recent hacking of Sony entertainment's website brought about by the movie about assassinating North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, a lot of Sony documents including email exchanges from top executives, directors, actors and writers were revealed.
It seems that the upcoming James Bond movie is not excluded in the email romps.
The script of the Daniel Craig starrer has been leaked and the ending was a disaster, according to Sony executives.
It has been said in the email exchanges that the final act of the film, now titled as Spectre, were not impressive and the writer responsible was fired.
The Defamer website has put together the email conversations with one revealing MGM executive, Jonathan Glickman showing his comments as far from satisfactory, "For what it's worth, I think first 100 pages are fantastic. It's all downhill from there. You guys set me up for a let down on climax. So I was not surprised. Also, there needs to be some kind of a twist rather than a series of water chases with guns," according to Ecumenical News.
In another email exchange from another executive, "We've already witnessed many horrible acts of terrorism, the finale should be about the biggest one yet that allows SPECTRE to profit the most. They should need the combined resources of all the intelligence agencies to pull it off."
In another news, rumors are also piling about the possibility of having a black James Bond instead of the usual white spy.
Fellow British actor Idris Elba is being eyed for in replacing Daniel Craig as agent 007. Amy Pascal, the co-chairman of Sony Entertainment was said to be in favor of Elba and had told Columbia Pictures' Elizabeth Cantillon that "Idris should be the next Bond."
But, according to contracts, Sam Mendes, who is directing the next two films, stipulates that Craig is the leading man to play the iconic spy.
Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, and Naomi Harris will join Craig in the film. Lea Seydoux will play the movie's female arch-enemy and Monica Belluci is a confirmed Bond girl.
Spectre is set for a November 6, 2015 worldwide premiere.
