Celebrity news: Jessica Alba celebrates Thanksgiving way ahead of everyone else
Thanksgiving came early for actress Jessica Alba.
Since she was scheduled to be out of the country during the actual date, she decided to make the holiday come early and celebrated it with her family way ahead of everyone else.
Alba is a domestic goddess as well and lorded it over the kitchen with her parents and prepared an unforgettable Thanksgiving feast. The actress and her mom prepared a traditional turkey, while her dad prepared a spicy option for the grown- ups.
"We had even more to be grateful for than usual since we had two turkeys this year!" Alba shared via her Honest Jessica's (Early) Thanksgiving Diary--Honestly--The Honest Company Blog website. "My mom and I were in charge of the traditional preparation; my dad took care of the hot n' spicy option."
The actress posted photos of her family's mouthwatering dishes. She admits that even she gives in to the delicious meals and is on cheat mode during that special day.
The sexy actress also notes that there's no shame in the Thanksgiving game.
The Into the Blue actress lends a helping hand with a 'halfway homemade' approach to prepping a holiday feast so she can focus on great execution and making sure everyone gets fed.
She also shared her dad's spicy turkey recipe, and even gave tips on how to achieve a moist, well cooked turkey this Thanksgiving.
Aside from food, she also posted adorable pictures of her two daughters, Honor, 6, and Haven, 3.
Husband Cash Warren, on the other hand, took their girls outside to play as his pivotal role in the turkey preparation.
Greeting fans from "half way around the world," Alba added, "Whether it's early or on time, Thanksgiving for me will always be about who's around the table as well as what's on the table. Happy Thanksgiving!"
