Porsha Williams Spinoff: Andy Cohen Discusses 'RHOA' Star's Potential Reality Show [VIDEO]
Andy Cohen discussed the possibility of Porsha Williams starring in her own reality show during a recent chat with his assistant, Daryn.
Why Was Porsha Williams Demoted On 'RHOA?'
On a recent episode of Ask Andy, Cohen addressed a rumor, which claimed Williams, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, would soon be starring in a spinoff of her own.
When asked if he had heard the rumor, Cohen told Daryn, "Not that I've heard." However, according to a report by Bravo's The Dish, that doesn't mean he wouldn't consider the idea. "Sure, [I'd be interested]," he says. "If she had stuff happening."

After Sheree Whitfield left The Real Housewives of Atlanta following the show's fourth season, Williams and Kenya Moore were brought aboard the show as full-time housewives. However, as season seven began filming, producers opted to feature Williams in a recurring role as a part-time housewife.
According to a Media Take Out report, Bravo "immediately signed [Williams] on to do her own spinoff show, like the one that Kim Zolciak has," after she was demoted. "[Williams] is set to begin filming at the start of the year, when the Housewives filming ends," the site claimed.
Once Williams' demotion was announced, Cohen explained she simply didn't have enough going on in her personal life to be given a peach. On an episode of Ask Andy, he said, "We went into it assuming she would be a full housewife, holding a peach, [but] we just haven’t gotten enough to merit that. She’s going to be in it a lot. We love her. I hope she’ll be on Bravo endlessly.”
Kim Zolciak, NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss have all previously been featured in Real Housewives of Atlanta spinoff shows.
