Bethenny Frankel On 'RHONY' Return: "I'm Never a Housewife When I'm a Housewife!"
On October 20, Frankel revealed she would return to The Real Housewives of New York City for the show's upcoming seventh season after leaving after the series' third. In a new interview, Cohen revealed he and Frankel had been discussing the possibility for months.
"She's one of the most popular housewives we've ever had on any of the shows. This is something I was working on since June," Cohen told Us Weekly at Wednesday night's GQ Gentlemen's Ball in NYC. "I think the timing was really right. I think one of the reasons she's so good as a housewife is she's really an oxymoron. She's super tough but she's super vulnerable."

Frankel starred on The Real Housewives of New York City from season one until season three, before leaving the series for her own spinoff show, Bethenny Getting Married?, on which she starred alongside her now-estranged husband, Jason Hoppy.
