Just weeks after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star filed for divorce from her husband of 23 years, Kris is hoping the ongoing tensions between herself and her estranged husband will give their E! reality show a ratings boost.
"Kris has been worried for the last year about the lower ratings of the show and also Kim and Kanye not wanting to be involved,” a source revealed to In Touch Weekly on Oct. 21. “She wasn't sure what could keep the show alive. Now that the divorce has become a popular subject she knows that it will keep people tuning into the show to keep and make a shift in ratings."
Kris Jenner On Divorce From Bruce: "I Feel Like I Failed"
Kris and Bruce separated in Oct. 2013, but Kris didn't file for divorce until last month. At the time, she cited "irreconcilable differences" and requested joint custody of their 17-year-old daughter, Kylie Jenner.
Earlier this month, reports surfaced, claiming Bruce had moved on from Kris and began dating her longtime best friend, Ronda Kamihira. Although neither Bruce, nor Ronda, has confirmed the relationship, Kris sounded alright with Bruce dating during a recent interview.
"Everybody is very happy. I know I’m in a really good place. And I hope he is too," Kris revealed to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show. "I hope he’s doing his thing and having a good time."
Filming began on Keeping Up With The Kardashians' 10th season earlier this month.
