On the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which is currently airing Sunday nights on Bravo, Gotti claimed Rino Aprea told her he had slept with his mother-in-law. While both Rino and his wife, Teresa, have denied the claims, Gotti has since passed a lie detector test.
"On October 3, blonde beauty Gotti took a voluntary polygraph examination and passed," Radar Online reported on Oct. 16.

Questions asked during the lie detector examination included, "'Did Rino Aprea tell you that his marriage had broken up because he had an affair with his mother in law?," "Are you lying when you state that Rino Aprea told you his marriage had broken up because he had an affair with his mother-in-law?," "Do you intend to answer my questions truthfully?," and "Did you ever lie in the past five years to get yourself out of serious trouble?'"
Judd Bank of CPI Investigations, who conducted the lie detector test, revealed that based on Gotti's test results, she was "being truthful regarding the pertinent questions asked.
After undergoing the lie detector test, Gotti challenged her co-stars to take a lie detector examination as well, thus proving the truth of the rumor once and for all. Gotti also said she felt bad about how things played out on the show.
Although Gotti passed the test, it should be noted that no lie detector test is 100 percent accurate.
