Celebrity Leaked Photos 2014: Fourth Male Victim Identified As 'Britain's Got Talent' Winner George Sampson [VIDEO]
Another celebrity has been affected by the never-ending iPhone Hacking Scandal -- and this time the victim is a male.
Insiders Believe Russian Hacker Is Responsible For Celebrity Nude Photo Hacking
George Sampson, the 2008 winner of Britain's Got Talent, is the latest to have his nude photos spread online. The 21-year-old dancer was snapped in numerous explicit poses, completely in the nude.
However, rather than from Apple's iCloud, the photos might have been stolen from his SnapChat account, according to an Oct. 15 report by The Daily Record.
Emmy Rossum Is The Latest Female Victim Of The Celebrity Nude Photo Hacking
The popular photo-sharing app allows users to send a photo that will "disappear" after an allotted time of at least 10 seconds. However, like many other Internet mediums, SnapChat is vulnerable to hackers. The media has labeled the incident the "Snappening."
Sampson's nude photos have circulated websites like 4chan and Reddit since Tuesday evening.
He is the fourth male star to be affected by the hacking, following former Doctor Who actor Matt Smith, Kelly Brook's ex-fiancée, David McIntosh, and Nick Hogan.
The first round of leaked photos was exposed to the Internet on Labor Day Weekend, eventually affecting many high-profile celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton and Gabrielle Union.
The man behind the devious acts is reportedly Sergei Kholokovsky, a resident of the southern Russian city of Samara. However, when questioned, not only does Kholokovsky deny hacking the photos, he also claims the celebrities themselves are to blame.
"If you would like to know my opinion where these pictures are coming from, I think those celebrities release them themselves, for PR purposes," he said, according to The Moscow Times.
The FBI is continuing their investigation on the hackings.
