'RHONY' Season Seven Cast: Aviva Drescher Will Appear On 'Marriage Boot Camp,' LuAnn De Lesseps Returns
The cast of The Real Housewives of New York City is changing ahead of season seven.
Aviva Drescher Won't Return To 'RHONY' For Season Seven
Although Aviva Drescher has reportedly been fired from the Bravo series, she's not done with reality TV and will soon appear on WEtv's Marriage Boot Camp. Meanwhile, the previously demoted LuAnn de Lesseps may return as an official housewife.
“It’s a good paycheck for easy work for Aviva,” an insider told the New York Daily News of Drescher's appearance on Marriage Boot Camp. “And she knows how to create good reality TV.”
Ramona Singer Demoted, Will Appear In Limited Role On 'RHONY'
According to the report, Drescher, along with husband Reid, will soon be heading to Los Angeles, where she will live in a house with other couples for six weeks. The series, during which professionals attempt to improve the relationships of couples, will garner Drescher a $150,000 paycheck.
Earlier this month, it was reported Ramona Singer had been demoted from her official housewife role to a part time, recurring role on the series. De Lesseps, however, would be upgraded from her lesser role and returning to the show full-time.
The New York Daily News claimed Bravo was “begging” De Lesseps to come back to the series for the show's seventh installment.
“LuAnn was genius about it,” said their source. “She never complained about it and let the show fall apart without her. People love LuAnn. She’s happy to be back.”
Sonja Morgan will also be returning to the show -- this time with boyfriend Nicolas Brochet.
