Phaedra Parks Divorce: Kandi Burruss Weighs In On 'RHOA' Co-Star's Marriage [VIDEO]
What does Kandi Burruss think of Phaedra Parks' possible divorce from Apollo Nida?
Phaedra Parks Skips Husband's Sentencing
During an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Burruss said she wasn't completely on board with the possibility of Parks divorcing Nida. Why? According to Burruss, she feared her friend would be judged.
“I feel like if she does do anything she’s going to be judged," Burruss explained to the hosts, via a Sept. 18 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. "People are like ‘ Oh you’re supposed to stay down with your man’, but nobody really thinks about whatever else may go on and I don’t think that’s fair.”
Apollo Nida Begins Eight-Year Prison Term
Last week, Nida entered prison, where he is serving an eight-year sentence for crimes of fraud. Meanwhile, his wife, Parks, remains in Atlanta, where she is raising their two sons alone. The situation is far from idea, but thus far, Parks has not filed for divorce.
Still, rumors continue to swirl in regard to a possible split.
Two months ago, during an interview with Atlanta's B-100, Nida slammed Parks, noting she “didn’t even f***ing show up” to a recent court hearing, and telling the hosts he was "salty" over the lack of support.
Despite the tension between them, Parks and Nida did film together for the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Although there had been conflicting reports, some claiming the couple quit the series and others stating Nida wouldn't be seen, fans will see them both when the show premieres on Nov. 2.
In the video below, Nida can be seen discussing his wife's decision to skip his July fraud sentencing.
