Rivers, who died at the age of 81, won the competition in 2009, and will appear on two episodes this season as a task adviser.

"We just finished shooting Season 14, and Joan is a big part of two of the episodes. I mean big part, and she was fantastic," host Donald Trump told Extra, via KHOU on Sept. 12. "Joan worked so hard, and she studied, she wanted to know all about the contestants that were remaining, what were their good points, their bad points. Joan was a hard worker... I think people are going to get a big kick, she was terrific."

Trump, who knew Rivers well, said winning the show was "a big moment in her life," and had a "huge impact" on her.

NBC confirmed to KHOU that Rivers will appear in two episodes, but not the first episode, which has no premiere date as of yet.

In other Rivers news, the comedienne's life was celebrated this weekend as daughter Melissa Rivers hosted a shiva, a week long mourning period in Judaism. The event was star-studded and described as a celebration.

"It was weird to be at an event like that and have a good time, but I think Joan would probably want something like that," one attendee told MailOnline, via InTouch Weekly on Sept. 14.

Celebrities like Lily Tomlin, Don Rickles, Broadway star Betty Buckley and Kris Jenner were in attendance. According to guests, there was good food, good wine and a scrapbook of pictures of Joan and Melissa for guests to looks through.
