Rivers, who died at the age of 81, won the competition in 2009, and will appear on two episodes this season as a task adviser.
"We just finished shooting Season 14, and Joan is a big part of two of the episodes. I mean big part, and she was fantastic," host Donald Trump told Extra, via KHOU on Sept. 12. "Joan worked so hard, and she studied, she wanted to know all about the contestants that were remaining, what were their good points, their bad points. Joan was a hard worker... I think people are going to get a big kick, she was terrific."

In other Rivers news, the comedienne's life was celebrated this weekend as daughter Melissa Rivers hosted a shiva, a week long mourning period in Judaism. The event was star-studded and described as a celebration.

Celebrities like Lily Tomlin, Don Rickles, Broadway star Betty Buckley and Kris Jenner were in attendance. According to guests, there was good food, good wine and a scrapbook of pictures of Joan and Melissa for guests to looks through.
