During Giudice's court appearance in March, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was given a July sentencing date, which was later moved to Sept. 23. Now, the sentencing date has been postponed for a second time.
"According to the Star-Ledger (via NJ.com) sentencing has been delayed again, this time to October 2," Wetpaint Entertainment reported on Sept. 8.
Teresa Giudice Is "Numb" After Pleading Guilty To Fraud
At the time the Giudice's trial was first postponed, the issue was noted as an "administrative error." However, it ironically came just days after Joe lost his father at their New Jersey home. The latest postponement was at the hands of U.S. District Judge Esther Salas' office (an exact reason for the rescheduling was not given).
Giudice and her husband, Joe, are each facing a substantial amount of time behind bars (Giudice faces 21 to 27 months, while Joe is facing 37 to 46 months).
Throughout their legal troubles, the Giudices have continued to film for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but according to an Aug. 19 Radar Online report, Giudice does not want their upcoming sentencing shown on the series.
“Teresa doesn’t want cameras from Bravo to be at her sentencing on September 23, and has told producers of the show her thoughts," a source told Radar Online. Unfortunately, the network wasn't on board. "Bravo doesn’t care what Teresa wants or thinks, and they are done protecting her.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
