Apollo Nida Tell-All: 'RHOA' Star Is Writing An Autobiography Ahead Of Prison Term

As he prepares to turn himself into prison to serve an eight-year term, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and husband of Phaedra Parks is working on an autobiography, in which he will reveal his deepest secrets.
"Nida has to report to prison Sept. 10th to begin serving an 8-year sentence for money fraud ... and sources close to the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star tell us he's been hard at work on his autobiography," TMZ reported on Sept. 5. "Nida's teamed with multiple writers to get his story down on paper -- focusing on his life, his upbringing, and the events that led him to prison."
Is Phaedra Parks Divorcing Apollo Nida?
In Jan. 2014, Nida was charged with several counts of fraud and identity theft. Months later, he pleaded guilty to a number of the charges. As as result, he was senteced to eight years behind bars (he was originally facing 30 years in prison for his crimes) and ordered to pay nearly $2 million in restitution.
According to TMZ, Nida has already selected a photo for the book's cover art.
Despite Nida's upcoming jail term, reports claim both he and his wife, Parks, will be featured on the seventh season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“Bravo will be capturing some of Apollo Nida’s legal troubles for the show and it will be featured in Season 7,” a source told Hollywood Life in July. “They got some footage with Apollo and Phaedra surrounding the sentencing this week.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns to Bravo on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m.
