Throughout season four, Richards and Gebbia battled back and forth, but during season five, Richards won't have to worry about any such thing -- and she couldn't be happier. However, she will Joyce Giraud, who was also let go after season four.
“I got along very well with Joyce, so I was sad,” Richards said during a recent interview with Parade Magazine, via a Sept. 4 report by Wetpaint Entertainment. “I don’t like change and I really liked her, but Carlton and I were never friends, she had it out for me from the beginning, so I was fine with that [laughs]. Let’s just say that.”

Gebbia and Giraud were hired by Bravo following the season three exits of Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer. But while both parties engaged in some fairly intense feuds with their co-stars, Giraud with Brandi Glanville and Gebbia with Richards, their roles on the show weren't quite enough for Bravo to offer them a second year. Instead, the network has brought on two new wives for season five.
In early August, Radar Online confirmed the addition of soap stars, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, and although Bravo has stayed mum on the official season five cast, both parties have been spotted filming with the stars of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in Los Angeles.
After filming the fourth season of the show, Richards spoke to People Magazine, explaining that while she wanted to like Gebbia, they simply didn't jive.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season five will air this fall on Bravo.
