'RHONY' Season Seven Cast: Andy Cohen Wants Carole Radziwill, LuAnn De Lesseps To Return, Aviva Drescher Fired
Andy Cohen intends to bring his season six housewives back for a seventh season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
Despite recent reports claiming the cast has been fired in lieu of a new set of Housewives, an Aug. 29 report states otherwise. In fact, according to the latest report, all of the women but one will return and LuAnn de Lesseps will be given back her "official Housewife" title.
“LuAnn is back for sure. They are now negotiating hr fee” a source told the NY Daily News. “Carole is also safe. She is a dear friend of Andy’s and has formed a genuine friendship with Heather Thomson. This is what the show is looking for."
According to the report, the network is planning to focus on genuine relationships and drama during the upcoming season seven -- not over-the-top and unnecessary drama like throwing an artificial leg.
Also said to be coming back to the series is Ramona Singer, who has been with the show since its start. However, there is a catch. Unlike season six, Singer will be forced to expose her marriage drama with Mario Singer, who was caught cheating on her earlier this year.
Aviva Drescher will reportedly not be back.
“It is the end of the road for Aviva," the source said. "She has not been told anything officially, but has been told if she wants to start looking for other TV opportunities, it is fine with Bravo."
