Lauren Conrad Bridesmaid Dresses: Show of Individuality in Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine
Lauren Conrad used to be known for starting drama on Laguna Beach and The Hills, but now, the reality star has made a name for herself in fashion. Oh, and she's getting married, too.
Ahead of her big day, Conrad launched Paper Crown Bridesmaids, a line of bridesmaid gowns, which her own bridesmaids recently modeled and will wear in her upcoming wedding.
Conrad is coinciding the release of the new line with her wedding to fiancé William Tell, and in the new issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, the 28-year-old showed off her newly launched wedding-inspired collection and spoke of each of the womens' looks.
"I sent them all the different shapes and let them pick from two colors," Conrad explained. "I don't mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones. It's too difficult to take a group of girls and put them in the same color and silhouette; everyone has their own style."
For this trendy bride, individuality is key, but that's not to say that her bridesmaids' options are limitless. The entire wedding, decorations and dresses included, will fall under a two-colored scheme.
"They're all wearing the same two colors, so it's all the same color scheme," she said. "I don't think it needs to look too cohesive. They're all individuals, so it's nice that it doesn't look too uniform."
"I think that weddings are about celebrating, and you want everyone to feel comfortable, so I think it's about whatever is going to make them feel pretty," she added.
