Tamra Barney On 'RHOC' Season 10: Reality Star Confirms She Will Return To Bravo
Tamra Barney is not leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Following weeks of reports, claiming she was leaving -- or had gotten fired -- from the Bravo series, Barney has spoken out, confirming she will be back for the show's upcoming 10th season.
According to an Aug. 25 report by Reality Tea, Barney confirmed to fans, via Twitter, that there was "not a chance” she'd be leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County. Barney also added, “I have been told im the highest rated on our show. Just keeping it real baby.”
At the end of July, as The Real Housewives of Orange County aired its ninth season, Radar Online reported Barney had been fired after she exposed Bravo for their cast manipulations. Days prior, Barney took to Facebook, where she called out the network for making her wait to cancel her appearance at Lizzie Rovsek's birthday party, and claimed they forced her co-star, Shannon Beador, to attend the party, despite her being ill.
In the Radar report, it was stated that Bravo gave Barney the axe because of her "diva behavior" and "over the top ego."
One day after Radar Online's report surfaced, a source spoke out, claiming it was untrue.
"Tamra has not been fired," the source told Rumorfix's Mr. Real Housewife. "She is being begged back for next season. The rumor she is fired is a lie.” The source also claimed Barney "is the show."
The Real Housewives of Orange County season nine reunion is currently airing on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
