'RHOBH' Season Five: Cast Is Getting Along, Producers Concerned Over Lack Of Drama
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast has experienced a lack of drama during the filming of season five.
While last year's cast bickered amongst themselves throughout the show's entire fourth season, things between the season five cast are much more civil -- and producers are concerned that the lack of drama will result in a decrease in viewers.
“This is going to be the most boring season ever of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” an insider told Radar Online on Aug. 22. “There’s no drama, which means there’s barely even a show for Bravo. The issue is that everyone gets along! It’s horrible.”
By the end of season four of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, several cast members were at odds. However, months into their hiatus, many of the women made amends. In addition to Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards putting their differences aside, Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville also rekindled their friendship. Glanville even made nice with her former nemesis, Adrienne Maloof, who is returning to the show after a season-long break.
“This is the last thing Bravo wants, is a cast of girls who all get along. It’s not what viewers tune in for,” the source said. “The girls shot in Santa Barbara this week and it was beyond boring. They need something truly crazy to happen to save this season.”
Joining the returning housewives are two new cast members, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season five premieres on Bravo this fall.
