Taylor Swift Shoes: Country Singer Releases New Album, Reveals "Sneaky Cat" Sneaker
Yesterday was a big day for Taylor Swift.
Not only did she release her latest music video for Shake It Off and announce her upcoming album, 1989, but the singer also premiered a special shoe to coincide with it all.
Introducing the "Sneaky Cat" sneaker, the latest addition to Taylor Swift's Keds collection, which the label announced in tune with her Yahoo live stream yesterday, Aug. 18, reported E! News.
The kicks are the feline epitome of Swift: slick black lace ups with a quirky cat peaking its way to the side of the shoe. Not to forget the metallic script on the heel, which reads the pop singer's birthday "12-13-89," and a delicate gold heart-shaped pendant with her initials.
Taylor Swift's 'Strange Personality' Keeping Her From Scoring Dates
The 24-year-old is legendary for feline fashion. According to E! News, she often sports cat shirts, cat-shaped shoes, cat-printed dresses and has even once been spotted in a cat-eared headband circa her "22" music video. And now she is letting her fans join in on the kitty fun.
Well, not quite yet.
Sorry, Swifties, but the new classic Ked "Champion" line is not out right meow. The label isn't dropping the kicks until October, just in time to purchase 1989.
Not to worry, just head on over to the Keds website to register for an exclusive pre-order list. And get ready to dance to T. Swift's late eighties-fused album in "Sneaky Cat" style.
Also, look out for 1989, the singer's first official pop album, which will hit stores on Oct. 27.
