Eileen Davidson Husband: 'RHOBH' Star Met Vince Van Patten While He Was Still Married
Eileen Davidson has been accused of stealing her now-husband from his former wife and kids.
Although the soap star has yet to make her debut on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Davidson is already involved in scandal. According to a new report, she and her husband, Vince Van Patten, began their relationship in 2001, while he was still married with two children.
"Davidson’s husband of three years, Port Charles soap star Jon Lindstrom, filed for divorce from her in November 2000. Not long after, Davidson and tennis pro Van Patten were spotted embarking together on a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas — even though he was still married to Betsy Russell, the mother of his two children, Richard and Vince Jr., who were 7 and 5 at the time," Radar Online reported on Aug. 18.
On Dece. 30, 2000, Van Patten was photographed picking up Davidson and driving to an airport in Los Angeles, where they boarded a flight to Las Vegas. At the airport, the pair appeared to be wearing disguises and source claimed it was "obvious" they were trying to go unrecognized.
During their trip to Las Vegas, Davidson and Van Patten, who met on the set of Young & the Restless, stayed at the Bellagio hotel.
Once photos of the pair hit the web, Van Patten's wife, Betsy Russell, filed for divorce.
In divorce documents obtained by Radar, it was stated the couple agreed to a gag order, which restricted them from making any “disparaging remarks” about one other to their children and the media.
