Ramona Singer Daughter: Avery Singer "Embarrassed" For Dad Mario
Ramona Singer is speaking out about her daughter's thoughts on her impending divorce.
Earlier this month, Singer announced the end of her marriage to husband, Mario, in a Twitter statement, and now, she has revealed how her 19-year-old daughter, Avery, is handling the news.
"Mario's behavior is embarrassing to me and my daughter," Singer, 57, told PEOPLE Magazine on Aug. 14 of her cheating husband. "We aren't embarrassed. We are embarrassed for him."
Singer and her husband have been trying to make it work since earlier this year. After reports surfaced, claiming the Real Housewives of New York City star caught Mario and his mistress, Kasey Dexter, at their Hamptons Home, Singer filed for divorce. However, weeks later, Singer chose to give her husband another chance. Unfortunately, he disappointed her once again.
In early August, Mario and Dexter were caught by paparazzi as they enjoyed a meal at a New York City restaurant. Days later, Singer took to Twitter, where she revealed to fans she was moving on with her life and excited about the next chapter.
Once she did, Mario and Dexter surfaced again, this time holding hands during a walk through New York City.
As Singer and Mario parted ways, Avery was left in the crossfires, but according to Singer, she's been very much "Team Ramona" throughout the affair.
"My daughter even said to him, 'If you don't want to be with Mommy, then do the right thing and split up.' She's angry at him," Singer said. 'It's upsetting."
