Chris Soules Next Bachelor: Reality Steve Makes Announcement On Twitter
You don't have to tell us twice, Juan Pablo is so last year. But as of last week, Reality Steve has Bachelor fans on the edge of their seats, teasing us with word of next year's hunk.
Who is it, you may ask?
Well, before we give away any rumors, ABC hasn't officially announced their final decision, but Reallity Steve has everyone thinking it is -- just wait for it -- Chris Soules, the delicious farmer from Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette.
Cue the swoons, blushes and heavy hearts.
Steve shared the big news with the world on Saturday via Twitter.
"It's official. Chris Soules will be the next 'Bachelor,'" he wrote. "Signed contract couple days ago & been filmed last 2 days in Iowa."
Reality Steve also told fans to ignore the ongoing rumors regarding other possible Bachelors. "Not sure when ABC will make their official announcement (prob not til September), but it's Chris. Any reports it's Nick or Arie aren't true," he explained.
Reports surfaced that Arie Luyendyk or Nick Viall were big contenders for the 2015 spot, but Steve seems pretty persistent that it will be Chris. After all, it is common knowledge that ABC was searching for a sweet, low-key and uncontroversial Bachelor for the latest season after Juan Pablo's questionable antics.
Just a reminder that this is live television, folks, and The Bachelor has to keep that in mind.
