DJ Pauly D Blowout: 'Jersey Shore' Star Gets A Haircut
DJ Pauly D got a haircut and shared the results with fans online.
After years of rocking his signature blowout, Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D, real name Paul Delvecchio, chopped off his long hair and debuted a new, much shorter look online.
"DJ Pauly D did the unthinkable and got rid of his iconic blowout! That’s right, he’ll be GTLin’ with much less gel for the foreseeable future," Life & Style reported on Aug. 11.
In 2009, Delvecchio signed on to appear on MTV's Jersey Shore, alongside Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww Farley and several other fist-pumping Shore-goers. The show went on for six seasons and traveled to Miami and Italy. In 2012, the series came to a close, and Delvecchio went on to star in the first Jersey Shore spinoff, The Pauly D Project, which followed him and his friends to Las Vegas, where he had landed a DJing gig. The series ended after season one.
Since leaving reality TV, Delvecchio has been focusing on his music career and in addition to his latest track, "No Tomorrow," he has released a handful of others, including 2012's "Night Of My Life" and 2013's "Back To Love."
“New Haircut, New Song!” Delvecchio, 34, wrote on Twitter, along with a link to his new song and the first photo of his new haircut, which was also used as the single's cover art.
In response to the new look, Delvecchio's former Jersey Shore co-star, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, tweeted, "I'm diggin the new do."
