Rob Kardashian Rehab 2014: 'KUWTK' Star Reportedly Agrees To Enter Treatment
Rob Kardashian may finally be getting help for his alleged issues with substance abuse.
According to a new report, Kardashian has agreed to enter a treatment center and kick his bad habits after months of attempting to cope with his weight gain by consuming more food, as well as alcohol and prescription pills.
“He’s looking at Bridges to Recovery,” an insider revealed to In Touch Weekly, via Radar Online, on Aug. 6. Bridges is a Beverly Hills residential treatment center catering to patients with mental health and addiction problems.
In May, just days before his sister, Kim, married Kanye West (Kardashian flew to Europe to attend the ceremony but ultimately chose to go home early), Kardashian addressed his weight gain on Twitter. At the time, Kardashian told fans he was aware of his weight issues and explained that despite rumors he went to fat camp, he does not believe in rehab or any sort of therapy. He also let his fans know he would work on himself when he was ready -- and now might be the time.
“Rob says he’s ready to take the first step and he really wants to go,” the source added. “He’s never said that before, so everyone thinks it’s a good sign.”
Days after Kardashian's Twitter outburst, a Radar Online source claimed he was struggling with depression.
“He takes Xanax and has been drinking really heavily,” the insider said. “Not to mention he’s eating like crazy!”
