Kristin Chenoweth Sick 2014: Actress Tells Fans She Is Numb And Can't Move
Kristin Chenoweth took to Twitter earlier this week, where she spoke of a mysterious illness.
Chenoweth, who spoke out about her struggles with adult asthma months ago, recently fell ill and shared details about her struggles with her fans online on Monday afternoon and again on Tuesday morning.
"Back in LA," Chenoweth tweeted, according to an Aug. 5 report by Us Weekly. "Unable to move. Numbness and tingling in arm. Going to cedars dr tomorrow. Ah anyone who prays please do!"
In her 30s, Chenoweth was diagnosed with asthma and Meniere’s disease, a disorder of the inner ear that can cause vertigo (dizziness and loss of balance). However, according to an update, neither of these issues were related to Chenoweth's latest illness.
The next day, Chenoweth updated fans on her situation and thanked them for their well wishes.
"Waiting on MRI results," she wrote. "No matter what I will be ok. Thanks everything for praying and sending good vibes. #thinkingpositive."
Hours later, a source spoke out, revealing that Chenoweth was doing well and explaining what had led to her symptoms.
"It was just a flare-up from her previous injury on The Good Wife," a source told PEOPLE Magazine. "It's nothing serious."
Over two years ago, Chenoweth was injured on the set of The Good Wife when a piece of lighting equipment fell from the ceiling. At the time, it was reported that Chenoweth fell to the ground and hit her head on the concrete after being struck by the equipment.
