'RHOC' Season Ten: Lizzie Rovsek Fired, Shannon Beador Remains
The Real Housewives of Orange County are cleaning house ahead of season 10.
Days after it was reported that Tamra Barney had been fired from the Bravo series, word has hit the web that Lizzie Rovsek has also gotten the axe. Shannon Beador, on the other hand, will return for the show's 10th installment.
"Lizzie just didn’t bring anything to the show, and was super boring,” an insider told Radar Online on Aug. 1. “Lizzie isn’t going to be asked back, but the other newcomer, Shannon, will definitely be getting an invite!”
After season eight of The Real Housewives of Orange County, cast members Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi were replaced by Rovsek and Beador, who signed on for season nine as official housewives. Danielle Gregorio also signed on for season nine, but only as a friend of the wives, meaning she would be seen in a lesser role.
While Rovsek failed to capture the attention of fans, Beador has reportedly done just that.
“Fans love Shannon because she is a bit of an airhead, likes to drink and party, and is a hot mess,” the insider explained. “She doesn’t care what others think about her, and producers want to cast women with similar personality traits.”
As for Barney, she allegedly got the boot earlier this week after calling out the network for manipulating story lines. Following the reported firing, Barney deleted her Facebook page and headed to Mexico.
