Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Fight: Reality Star Ordered To Anger Management
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has been ordered to attend anger management classes following a fight at his tanning salon.
Weeks after he reportedly got into a physical altercation with his brother at his family-owned tanning salon in New Jersey, the former Jersey Shore star has agreed to take anger management classes in an effort to control any future outbursts.
According to a July 28 report by PEOPLE Magazine, Sorrentino agreed to the classes as part of a deal, which could ultimately result in his charge being downgraded. "A municipal court judge Monday accepted the deal and adjourned the matter for three months," the site reported. "If Sorrentino successfully completes the counseling program, the charge against him could be downgraded."
On Tues., June 17, police responded to a 911 call at the Boca Tanning Salon in Middletown, N.J. Upon arrival, cops arrested Sorrentino and charged him with simple assault. At the time of the incident, reports claimed Sorrentino and his brother Frank had engaged in a "fist fight" over how to run their business.
After posting $500 bail, Sorrentino was released from jail and on the way out, he spoke to TMZ, showing off a black eye and a bandage on his hand.
Earlier this month, Sorrentino opened up about the incident in an interview with PEOPLE Magazine.
"I'm not perfect and neither is any family in the world," Sorrentino explained on July 11. "I've been arguing and fighting with my little brothers since I was 6 or 7. I work with my family, and I sort of live with them as well, so it gets a little tricky."
