Marcus Grodd Engaged: Andi Dorfman Ex Will Marry 'Bachelor' Contestant Lacy Faddoul
Marcus Grodd is engaged to his Bachelor In Paradise co-star, Lacy Faddoul.
Just weeks after he was eliminated by Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette, a source has confirmed that Grodd became engaged to Bachelor contestant Faddoul during their time on Bachelor In Paradise, which begins airing next month.
"Grodd and Faddoul got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise, which filmed in June and will premiere on ABC in early August," Us Weekly reported on July 24, noting that Reality Steve was the first to report on the news.
Grodd appeared on the latest season of The Bachelorette, but was eliminated during the July 7 episode, which featured the contestant's hometown dates. Prior to his elimination, Grodd had told cameras that Dorfman was his "everything" and claimed he was "ready to propose." Following his exit, Grodd said he would miss Dorfman and admitted that he was still in love with her.
"I feel like an idiot," Grodd said at the time. "I believed in something that wasn't there."
As for Faddoul, a nursing home owner, she never made it past the first rose ceremony with Juan Pablo Galavis on the 18th season of The Bachelor. Instead, she was eliminated after the inaugural cocktail party, along with eight other contestants.
In addition to her engagement, viewers of Bachelor In Paradise will also reportedly see Faddoul being rushed to the hospital. According to a Wetpaint Entertainment report, Faddoul either "had some bad food or was dehydrated" during filming.
Bachelor In Paradise premieres on Aug. 4 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
