'RHONJ' Salaries: Season Six Cast Reportedly Making Up To $250,000
The cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are reportedly getting paid up to $250,000 for season six.
As ratings for the series reach an all-time low, cast members' salaries have allegedly reached an all-time high, with one of the show's stars making a quarter of a million dollars.
"Dina Manzo is earning $100,000 for this current season, with an option to return for another run, with a salary increase,” an insider told Radar Online on July 16. “New cast members Nicole Napolitano, Teresa Aprea and Amber Marchese are earning $60,000 for their work. Amber has been telling friends her salary wouldn’t even cover her clothing allowance for one year!”
On Sunday night, season six of The Real Housewives of New Jersey debuted to its lowest ratings ever in the 18-49 demographic, with just 1.17 million viewers aged 18-49. Even the show's first season surpassed that with a total of 1.26 million viewers in the specified age bracket.
As for the rest of the cast, Melissa Gorga is said to be making $250,000, while Teresa Giudice's salary was not revealed.
Throughout season six, Giudice, who has been with the show since its start, and her husband, Joe, have exposed their legal issues, allowing Bravo cameras to document their lives following their guilty plea in a fraud case against them and leading up to their Sept. 2014 sentencing. The couple even allowed their oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, to film scenes addressing their upcoming sentencing.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season six airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
