Lisa Rinna On 'RHOBH': Former Soap Star Will Quit Series If It Jeopardizes Her Home Life
Lisa Rinna isn't willing to jeopardize her family for a career in reality television.
According to report, Rinna, a former soap star, recently signed on for the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but when it comes to the on-screen drama that is sure to follow, Rinna has her limits.
“There have been assurances made by Lisa that she will quit the show immediately if it’s having a negative impact on her family,” a source explained to Radar Online on July 15.
For years, Rinna has been rumored to be joining the show, but up until recently, she had been hesitant. At one point, Rinna appeared on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen's late-night show on Bravo, where she discussed her thoughts on the series. During the interview, Rinna told Cohen she didn't know what it would be like on the show, and added that she would likely get into it with Brandi Glanville.
"She’s the one where — when I watch it — little hairs on my neck go up," Rinna explained at the time.
One year later, Rinna spoke to E! News, claiming rumors of her joining the show were false and hinting that her husband, Harry Hamlin, may have been against the idea, despite their having appeared in their own show, Harry Loves Lisa, before.
As for why Rinna finally decided to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Radar's source claimed it was "what she felt she had to do in order to jump-start her brand and career.”
