Kate Gosselin Single Mom: Mother Of Eight Admits To Crying, Struggling With Parenting
Kate Gosselin admitted in a new interview that she sometimes cries and struggles with parenting her eight kids.
Although Gosselin seems to be handing her brood of children quite well when fans see her on television and in public, things aren't always what they seem, and at times, Gosselin breaks down.
"I'm one of many single moms out there. It's not ideal," Gosselin revealed during a sneak peek of tomorrow night's airing of her TLC special, via PEOPLE Magazine.
With eight kids, managing time isn't always easy -- especially when all of her children are involved in different activities, and she has no partner to help pick up the slack. While Gosselin was formerly married to the father of her children, Jon Gosselin, the pair parted ways in 2009 after ten years of marriage, and ever since, Gosselin has been forced to parent alone.
Currently, Jon Gosselin does see his kids and spend time with them, but the majority of the time, they are with their mom.
"I cry behind closed doors, I struggle," she admitted. "But I have to remind myself, this is my one shot. You're going to mess up. Just don't give up."
In addition to juggling her numerous parental duties, Gosselin has also been dealing with legal drama from her ex in regard to her recent TLC special. According to Jon, he doesn't want the kids on television and feels that Gosselin is only forcing them to appear in an effort to increase her own fame. She claims she returned to television for the money.
The second half of Gosselin's TLC special, Kate Plus Eight, airs on June 26 at 10 p.m.
