Kate Stolzfus Plastic Surgery: 'Breaking Amish' Star Reportedly Plans For Nose Job
Breaking Amish star Kate Stolzfus will reportedly go under the knife in hopes of giving her modeling career a boost.
After moving to New York City with dreams of finding success as a model, 23-year-old Stolzfus became much more aware of her imperfections and has allegedly decided to undergo rhinoplasty.
"Kate is ready to get a nose job,” an insider revealed to Radar Online. “She’s doctor shopping around New York.”
In 2012, Stolzfus left her ultra-conservative upbringing to pursue a modeling career in The Big Apple. Throughout her journey, Stolzfus was followed by the cameras of TLC for their reality hit, Breaking Amish. On the show, several members of the Amish community were featured as they traveled to the big city and later chose to either go back to their roots or remain in New York City. The 5’ 8” Stolzfus chose to stay in the NYC and was later signed by Major Model Management.
Despite her success, Stolzfus was still unhappy, and according to the insider, is planning to have plastic surgery in order to stay competitive in the world of fashion.
“Since coming to live with ‘the English,’ she’s noticed a lot of her flaws,” the insider explained. “The pressure to be beautiful in the modeling world is intense, especially for someone who grew up so sheltered.”
Following season one of Breaking Amish, TLC developed a spinoff, Return To Amish, which followed the first season's cast members, including Stolzfus.
Return to Amish airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
