Stacy Keibler Pregnant Workout: Actress' Trainer Explains How She Stays In Shape
Stacy Keibler is reportedly staying healthy and fit while pregnant.
In a new interview, Keibler's Pilates instructor, Nonna Gleyzer, is telling all about Keibler's healthy pregnancy and how she's staying in shape.
“She wants to be as healthy and as strong as possible for her baby,” Nonna Gleyzer revealed to PEOPLE Magazine. “The focus is on keeping her body strength and also keeping her body aligned.”
After marrying husband Jared Pobre, 39, in March 2014, Keiber, 34, announced she was expecting her first child, telling PEOPLE, "We're an elated family-to-be!" Weeks later, their child was confirmed to be a girl.
Currently, Keibler is working four times a week with Gleyzer and while there have been some slight changes in her routine, Gleyzer said they didn't have to change much. Now that Keibler is expecting, her routine consists of less repetitions and less moves on her back, but her goal of strengthening and elongating her muscles remains. Keibler and Gleyzer also work on lower abs and breating, which Gleyzer said will help her with the birth.
As for Keibler's eating habits, she is just as strict.
“Stacy eats clean, quality food,” Gleyzer said. “There is no garbage. She doesn’t eat French fries or milkshakes. You can splurge but still make healthy choices!”
Following her baby girl's arrival, Keibler plans to take time off from her exercise routine and focus on motherhood. However, within four to six weeks, she will be back to her normal fitness regimen.
