Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi On 'Shahs Of Sunset' And Her Co-Stars: Celebeat Exclusive!
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi recently spoke to Celebeat about Shahs Of Sunset and her relationships with her co-stars.
On Shahs, Gharachedaghi often takes center stage—whether it be for her outgoing personality or the drama between her and her co-stars—and no matter what the situation, she always stays real.
During our interview with Gharachedaghi, she opened up about fame, friendships, her favorite Shahs moment and more.
How has your life changed now that you are on a reality show?
I guess the main thing is I get recognized when I go places, and that took some getting used to. It amazes me how many people not only come up to me, but start telling me what they think of the show, their opinions on some of the things I have done and then give me advice on what I should do about particular situations that are unfolding in the show. It’s great to see that people are so into Shahs that they want to become involved.
Do you have any regrets about signing on for 'Shahs Of Sunset?'
I don’t. I think at first it was a little strange having my life put on television for the whole world to see and I might have had a few initial hesitations. As time goes on, you get used to it and it doesn’t seem as invasive as it first did.
Are there any particular scenes you wish weren't shown?
Ha. Well, that’s not an easy question to answer. I guess I would say yes, but the truth is I’m a pretty open person, so whatever I do on-camera is fair game.
Why do you think 'Shahs' has been such a hit for Bravo?
I think when you get right down to the core of the show, we’re a pretty interesting group of people. We also show a culture that there are a lot of misconceptions about and the viewing audience is hopefully finding that interesting and informative. There’s usually no shortage of drama going on, so I’m sure that keeps people tuned in.
What are your favorite and least favorite 'Shahs' moments so far?
That changes by the minute. Our trip to Turkey was a great moment.
How is your relationship with your co-stars?
In many ways, our relationships are no different than people who are not on a reality show. They evolve over time and we have ups-and-downs just like everybody else. I truly love and respect everyone on the show and have learned something from everyone.
