Giuliana Rancic Surrogate Pregnant 2014: Reality Star And Husband Bill Have One Last Embryo
Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill reportedly have one last chance to have a second child.
Earlier this week, the Rancics announced their surrogate had miscarried their second child, and although the news was devastating, the Giuliana & Bill stars are staying positive about a future sibling for their son, Duke.
"We have one embryo left," Rancic revealed to PEOPLE Magazine on June 5 of the embryos she had frozen. "I'm on cancer medication for a few more years. I've had to come to terms with the fact that I may never carry a child. With that said, this next embryo, there's no guarantees. In that case, that's it."
On season seven of Giuliana & Bill, the Rancics were seen meeting with the surrogate who delivered Duke in hopes of having her bless them with a second child. Right away, Delphine agreed and several episodes later, was implanted with one of Giuliana's embryos. Nevertheless, on the season finale episode, Giuliana and Bill were seen receiving a call, during which their doctor revealed Delphine had miscarried at "around nine weeks pregnant."
"We're fighters," Bill said. "Duke was a gift after a miscarriage. Delphine will be on board for one more try, so we're certainly optimistic about the future and hope that we’re going to be able to give him a little brother or sister."
While an eighth season of Giuliana & Bill has yet to be confirmed, it is suspected that the couple will return to the show for at least one more season, as Giuliana recently signed a new deal with the E! Network.
