'RHONJ' Season 6: Three New Housewives Join The Cast Of 'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey'
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is returning to Bravo with three new faces.
This July, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are returning to Bravo with a sixth season of the show, and along with them are new cast members, Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea and Nicole Mauriello, who replace the absent Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita.
According to E! News, Marchese is a cancer survivor and longtime friend of Gorga's. She was born and raised in New Jersey and currently raising four children. She is very fitness-oriented and has a masters in bio-behavioral studies/exercise physiology.
Aprea and her twin sister, Mauriello, are as close as sisters can be. Aprea married her husband, restaurateur Rino Aprea, in 1991, got divorced and then married him again in 2002.
Also returning to the show for season six is Kathy Wakile, who joined the cast during season three. However, her role on the show has been downgraded from official housewife to friend of the housewives, which she spoke about earlier this month.
"I'm so happy to be part of the Bravo family. I have enjoyed being a RHONJ Housewife and have now agreed to terms that give me the opportunity to film the show in a way which better suits my lifestyle," Wakile revealed to E! News on May 14. "I've been able to get to know the new girls on my terms while remaining free to focus on other great things, including the expansion of my businesses."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season six returns to Bravo on July 13 at 8 p.m.
