Jenelle Evans Divorce: Pregnant 'Teen Mom 2' Star's Husband Courtland Rogers Gets Served

Jenelle Evans' husband has reportedly been served.

After separating from Courtland Rogers in April 2013, Evans met and began a relationship with Nathan Griffith, and now that she's expecting his child next month, the Teen Mom 2 star is hoping to be divorced prior to the baby's arrival. Unfortunately, that may not be possible.

“Courtland was served with the paperwork,” a source confirmed to Radar Online of the former couple's impending divorce. "Jenelle doesn't want to be married to Courtland, she wants nothing to do with him."

Evans and Rogers got married on Dec. 4, 2012 in a courthouse ceremony, after beginning a relationship for three months. The following month, after announcing Evans was pregnant, the pair split and Evans claimed to have suffered a miscarriage. Then, following a brief reconciliation with her ex-fiance, Gary Head, she and Rogers got back together, proclaiming they were going to give their marriage another shot. However, after Evans and Rogers were arrested for heroin possession and assault, they parted ways for good.

Because of North Carolina state law, Evans was forced to stay married to Rogers for one full year after their separation before she was eligible to file for divorce, and although she filed as soon as technically possible, her divorce may not be finalized before her second son, whom she will name Kaiser, arrives.

“There is a court date set for June 2 to determine when a hearing can be held and then hopefully Jenelle can be divorced from Courtland before her baby is born, but she may not be," the source explained.
