Sherri Shepherd Divorce: Husband Lamar Sally Wanted Her To Sign Weight Clause
Sherri Shepherd's husband reportedly attempted to make her sign a weight clause during their marriage.
Earlier this month, Shepherd and husband Lamar Sally separated, and as they get closer to the official end of their marriage, ugly details of their time together are beginning to surface.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Sally attempted to make an amendment to their prenup sometime after their marriage, in which Shepherd would sign an agreement to stay skinny and enjoy their sex life.
After becoming engaged on Dec. 26, 2010, Shepherd and Sally, who is a TV writer, were married on Aug. 13, 2011, at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. On May 2, 2014, Sally filed for separation, and on May 12, 2014, Shepherd filed for divorce.
At some point in their marriage, Sally asked for an amendment to their prenuptial agreement, which would guarantee his wife's body would not change.
Below are the statements Sally requested Shepherd agree to:
- "I respect my husband's opinions and recognize him as the leader of our home. I will always speak well of my husband."
- "I enjoy having sex with my husband. I crave intimacy with him and want to be uninhibited and free in our lovemaking."
- "My body is important to me. I strive to maintain a healthy body weight and exercise at least three times a week."
- "It is my joy to submit to my husband as a way to honor God."
In addition to their impending divorce, Shepherd and Sally are also entangled in a custody battle over their yet-to-be-born son, Lamar Sally Jr. In Sally's separation documents, it was revealed that the pair would welcome their first child together, via surrogate, this July. Also in the documents, Sally requested both full and legal custody of the child.
