Nicki Minaj And Safaree Samuels Wedding: Hip Hop Star Dishes On Upcoming Nuptials
Nicki Minaj is reportedly speaking out about her upcoming dream wedding.
Although the hip hop star has yet to confirm her engagement to longtime boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, Minaj has made no effort to hide the massive bling on her wedding ring finger, and now, she's dishing on her dream wedding.
“An island, a beach — I’m definitely that type of girl,” Minaj told Life & Style of where she would like to be married. “A white-sand beach somewhere, maybe Hawaii or Turks and Caicos!”
Minaj and Samuels, who has the "Starships" singer tattooed on several different places of his body (including his chest and arm), have reportedly been dating for 10 years—but things between them haven't been drama-free. After fueling rumors of an engagement in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico this past March, the couple's relationship appeared to take a turn for the worse earlier this month.
According to Perez Hilton, Minaj shocked fans on May 13 when she posted a photo of her feet, along with the caption, "SINGLE N READY TO MINGLE." Days prior, Samuels had posted some cryptic tweets as well, one reading, "trust nobody," and another saying, "at the end of the day its jus me."
Regardless of their recent falling out, the pair seem very much together at this point, and Minaj appears to be excited to plan their big day.
As for her dress, Minaj reveals to the magazine that she wants “a big, white, Beauty and the Beast dress. I’m still a princess in my head!”
