Dina Manzo 'RHONJ' Season Six: Manzo Explains Her Return To Bravo
Dina Manzo is back on Bravo for the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
After leaving the show during season two, Manzo has returned, joining her longtime friend, Teresa Giudice, returning wife Melissa Gorga and a few new wives, and in a new interview, Manzo is explaining what brought her back.
"This year, it kind of felt right between the changes going on in my life," Manzo explained to E! News of her season six return. "Teresa and I have organically gotten closer this past summer because of what she's going through.. We became close friends again, hanging out, and it organically just happened. And they asked me last-minute. I came in last minute."
Manzo was one of the five original cast members on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but after a fight with Danielle Staub and a fallout with her sister, Caroline Manzo, she opted to move on from the show and focus on her family.
Unfortunately, years later, Manzo and her husband, Tommy, separated, and with her daughter, Lexie, heading off to college this summer, she has much more free time on her hands for her friendships, and for filming.
As for the new wives who will be joining Manzo, she had nothing but good things to say.
"I keep saying they're swinging from the chandeliers and we're trying to catch up with them," Manzo said. "They're a lot to handle, but they're a lot of fun. They're great TV. Their one-liners are amazing and they don't even realize how funny they are."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season six returns to Bravo on July 13 at 8 p.m.
