Kirstie Alley Weight Loss Plan: Bike Riding, Portion Control And More
Kirstie Alley has reportedly gotten serious about her weight loss goals.
For years, Alley's weight has gone up and down, but according to the Dancing With The Stars alumna, she has found the perfect diet and exercise plan, which will help her stay focused and keep the weight off -- for good.
“If anything is within a three-mile radius, I’ve started riding my bike. Iv’e been grabbing my kids and asking, ‘Who wants to ride with me to the store?’ and they will. I’m trying to think more childlike,” Alley, 63, revealed in an interview with Closer Magazine, according to Radar Online. “It’s all about portions, portions, portions! I never feel deprived of the things I like.”
After losing a reported 100 pounds while training for Dancing With The Stars, Alley returned to her normal routine and quickly gained back about 30 pounds. Before things got too out of control, Alley became proactive about the cause and rejoined Jenny Craig in April 2014 in an effort to get back on the fast track to weight loss.
Just one month in, Alley is already seeing results.
“I can see some cuts coming back in my arms,” Alley said. “I’ve learned to look at the things that are right and stop looking at things that are wrong.”
Since Alley doesn't have much weight to loose this time around, she's taking things slowly and moving at her own pace. However, she does hope to one day be back in a bikini.
