'RHONJ' Star Kathy Wakile Missing From Season Six: Wakile Is No Longer A Housewife
Kathy Wakile is reportedly no longer a Housewife.
After two seasons in a starring role, Wakile has confirmed that she will not be an official wife on the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
"I'm so happy to be part of the Bravo family. I have enjoyed being a RHONJ Housewife and have now agreed to terms that give me the opportunity to film the show in a way which better suits my lifestyle," Wakile revealed in a new interview with E! News. "I've been able to get to know the new girls on my terms while remaining free to focus on other great things, including the expansion of my businesses."
With her extra free time, Wakile intends to focus on her career in food with the expansion of her dessert line, Dolci Della Dea. Wakile is also releasing a dessert cookbook, Indulge, this fall.
Although Wakile won't be seen on season six as much as she has been in prior seasons, both she and her sister, Rosie Pierri, will be seen in limited roles.
Also not returning for the series' sixth season are Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita. Earlier this year, Bravo announced that Manzo and her family would be moving on from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" with a show of their own, "Manzo'd With Children," which will follow Manzo and her family as they tend to the duties of their New Jersey restaurant, The Brownstone.
This morning, Laurita told fans she would be seen on Manzo's spin-off in a "part-time" role.
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" season six premieres on Bravo on July 13 at 8 p.m.
