Kate Major Seizure: Michael Lohan's Girlfriend Transported From Rehab To The Hospital
Kate Major reportedly had a seizure in rehab.
On Monday, Major was said to have suffered a seizure while receiving treatment in a Florida rehab facility, and had to be rushed to a local hospital.
According to TMZ, Major had been complaining of chest pains on Monday morning after suffering from the seizure and was taken to JFK Medical Center near West Palm Beach, Fla. Upon arrival, Major was admitted and treated for an "erratic heartbeat."
In mid-March 2014, Major was pulled over in Florida and charged with DUI following an alleged physical altercation with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Michael Lohan. During the arrest, Major denied she had been drinking but eventually registered with a .243 BAC level -- more than three times the legal limit. When the officer on duty attempted to give Major a field sobriety test, she broke down crying.
After the incident, a judge ordered Major to check into an in-patient rehab facility, where she has remained ever since. When Major completes her court-ordered rehab program, she will be required to wear a tracking device.
Meanwhile, Lohan has been left to raise his and Major's young son, Landon, who was born on Jan. 30, 2013.
At the time, Lohan shared tons of photographs of the boy online and told his fans, "I am so, so happy and so proud of Kate! Landon has given us both new beginnings in a lot of ways! This child is a blessing and he has given me a real reason to move on."
