Emily Maynard Engaged: 'Bachelorette' Star Promises Her Fourth Engagement Will Be Her Last

Emily Maynard has reportedly announced her fourth engagement will be her last.

Following several failed attempts at making it down the aisle, Maynard became engaged to Tyler Johnson and ahead of their upcoming wedding, Maynard is vowing that this relationship will be the one that sticks.

"[This engagement] is my last. I really mean it. I'm actually making it to the marriage part this time!" Maynard insisted to PEOPLE Magazine on May 8.

At the age of 18, Maynard's first engagement came to an end when her fiance, Ricky Hendrick, died in a plane crash, along with seven other members of his family. After his death, Maynard discovered she was pregnant with Hedrick's child, and on June 29, 2005, she gave birth to Josephine Riddick "Ricki" Hendrick.

Maynard's second and third engagements stemmed from her time on reality TV. During the 15th season of The Bachelor, Maynard won the heart of Brad Womack and the pair became engaged on the show's season finale. Months later, the pair split and Maynard went on to star in the eighth season of The Bachelorette. On the show, Maynard met Jef Holm and said "yes" to his proposal during the season finale. Three months after the show aired, Maynard and Holm announced they had ended their relationship.

Just as she began filming The Bachelorette, Maynard met Johnson, an elder at her church, and was immediately impressed. However, because of her commitment with ABC, the two didn't pursue a relationship at the time. One year later, after Maynard and Holm's relationship had ended, Maynard and Johnson reunited and became engaged just after New Year's 2014.

Of her upcoming wedding, Maynard said she plans to make her daughter Ricki, 8, an important part.

"I keep telling Ricki it's just as much her wedding as it is mine. It's been fun to see her get excited about it," Maynard said, adding that she's trying to stay calm when it comes to the wedding preparations.

"I don't want to be Bridezilla. I don't want any gifts. I don't need a toaster. I don't want a waffle maker. I just want everybody to come and chill and have fun," she explained.
