Bethenny Frankel Reality Show: Talks Show Host In Talks For 2014 Series
Bethenny Frankel is reportedly in talks for her own reality show, but it won't be with Bravo.
For months, it has been reported that Frankel could return to the Bravo Network, on which she got her start, in either a new talk show or a new reality series, but now, reports claim she is looking for a new network.
“Nothing is official but she’s shopping a reality show around and taking meetings,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life on May 6, adding that talks of the new reality series are "serious."
Frankel began her reality television career in 2005, when she appeared, and nearly won, on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart (she came in second place). In 2008, she nabbed a role as one of five "housewives" on Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City. After starring on RHONY for three seasons, Frankel went on to star in her own reality show, Bethenny Getting Married? with her husband Jason Hoppy. Following the wedding, the reality show was renamed Bethenny Ever After and continued to air on Bravo for three seasons.
After her reality television career came to a close in 2012, Frankel went on to land a talk show on FOX. After premiering in June 2012 in test markets, the series, titled Bethenny, went into national syndication beginning in Sept. 2013. In Feb. 2014, the series was canceled.
“I had a blast doing this show with Telepictures,” Frankel said, following the cancelation of Bethenny. “My entire staff worked so hard and made everyday so much fun. I am thankful for the experience and for all my fans who tuned in every day.”
