Kathy Wakile's Daughter Victoria Had Another Brain Tumor, Underwent Second Surgery
Kathy Wakile recently revealed that her daughter, Victoria, had a second brain tumor and underwent surgery to have it removed.
Just 10 years after her first tumor removal, Victoria went in for a follow-up MRI where reportedly a second brain tumor was discovered, and in a new interview, Kathy and her husband, Richard, are opening up about the scary turn of events.
"We just passed her 10-year anniversary of the surgery, and she’s telling me that she’s just feeling off. She’s saying, ‘Mom, I just don’t feel right.’ She’s been experiencing some major headaches," Kathy recalled, while speaking to OK! Magazine.
During the doctor visit, an obstruction was found.
"A little portion [of the tumor] had regrown and it was blocking the fluid passing through," Kathy explained. "It wasn’t as large as it had grown previously."
Luckily, Victoria was able to undergo surgery to have the tumor removed and recovered quickly. Still, the ordeal was traumatic for the family, especially after all they went through a decade ago.
"It was very scary for all of us," Richard said.
Now, Victoria's life is back to normal. She's texting friends, spending time out of the house and getting caught up on her school work.
As for her parents, Kathy and Richard, they are busy doing charity events, spreading the word in hopes of helping other families who may be going through the same thing.
