Tamra Barney Plans For Fifth Child Amid Custody Battle With Ex-Husband, Simon Barney
Tamra Barney and her husband Eddie Judge may be planning for a baby of their own.
As Barney's custody battle with her ex-husband Simon rages on, the Real Housewives of Orange County star is considering starting a family with Judge, whom she married last year. However, she won't be able to have the child naturally.
"You can't have a baby, this door's locked," Judge told Barney, who had her tubes tied years ago, during Monday night's new episode of RHOC, according to an April 21 report by Radar Online. "But we could do other things, like we could adopt one, or we could do a surrogate, or something like that," Barney responded.
Barney had been married to husband Simon for over a decade before he filed for divorce on Jan. 7, 2010, claiming Tamra was "verbally abusive and committed acts of disloyalty and infidelity." From there, Barney went on to meet and fall in love with Eddie Judge, a fitness instructor, and the pair were married on June 15, 2013, in a made-for-TV wedding which aired on Bravo in Sept. 2013.
Now, over four years after their divorce, Barney and her ex are involved in a high-publicised custody battle involving their three children, Sidney, Spencer and Sophia, which has the kids with Simon half the time.
Also on last night's show, Barney opened up about seeing her kids less and wanting another child to make her home with Judge feel more like a family. Right away, her co-stars were concerned that Barney may be searching for a replacement for her kids rather than genuinely wanting to become a mother for the fifth time (Barney also has a son from a previous relationship).
"Eddie and I talked about kids several times before we got married," Barney later told the Bravo cameras. "We're in our 40s. There's no time to waste. But I don't know if that's what we need or if that's truly what Eddie wants or if that's really what I want."
