'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans' Boyfriend Released From Jail: Nathan Griffith Returns Home
Jenelle Evans' boyfriend is a free man.
After less than two weeks behind bars, Nathan Griffith was reportedly given an early release on Sunday, at which point he reunited with his pregnant girlfriend.
According to an April 20 report by Radar Online, Griffith was released from jail on April 20, and the "very pregnant Teen Mom 2 star was able to pick him up."
Griffith was sentenced to 30 days behind bars during a court date earlier this month, where he addressed a DUI charge (his third) from last year.
In Sept. 2013, Griffith was arrested with Evans after the pair left a South Carolina bar. After police suspected he had been drinking, Griffith was booked and thrown behind bars. At the time, the pair caused quite the stir after it was revealed they had claimed they were trying to have sex, which led to Griffith's reckless driving.
Last week, prior to Griffith's release, Evans told fans that she would be heading back to court.
"Can't wait until Monday," she wrote on Wednesday. "Skipping to the court house I go."
Evans is currently married to Courtland Rogers, but has been planning to divorce him for nearly a year. Since North Carolina, where the pair were married, requires couples to be separated for one year before they are eligible to divorce, Evans has been patiently waiting to file.
Once divorced, Evans is planning to move forward with an engagement to Griffith, and possibly a summer wedding, after the birth of their child.
