Kandi Burruss And Todd Tucker Are Planning For A Baby
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are reportedly planning for their first child together.
Just weeks after tying the knot, the Real Housewives of Atlanta couple have announced their plans for a family of their own.
“We’re trying now for a baby!” Burruss revealed to In Touch Weekly on April 18. “We haven’t succeeded yet. If it happens today, then we’re good with it.”
Burruss and Tucker, a former line producer of the show, tied the knot on April 4, 2014. The couple had been dating since 2011 and becoming engaged in January of 2013.
The pair have one child each, from previous relationships. Burruss is the mother of Riley, 11, from a relationship with Russell “The Block” Spencer, of Block Entertainment, and Tucker is the father of 17-year-old Kaela.
“We’re really looking forward to having kids together,” Kandi explained. “I can’t wait to have one big family.”
On April 8, Bravo announced that Burruss and Tucker’s wedding would be turned into a televised special, which would air on Bravo later this year.
"You are cordially invited to celebrate the wedding of Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker,” the network’s announcement read. "Against vocal family opposition that played out dramatically in season six of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi and Todd have decided to move forward and tie the knot."
No word yet on whether or not Burruss and Tucker’s family planning will be a part of the series.
