Tori Spelling Calls Dean McDermott Her "Soulmate," Admits He "Completely" Broke Her Heart By Cheating
Tori Spelling has opened up about her husband's infidelities in a new interview.
Speaking for the first time about her affair, Spelling sat down with Us Weekly and opened up about how the love of her life left her heartbroken.
"He was my soulmate, but he completely broke my heart," Spelling said of McDermott. "It makes you not trust anything that's happened in your relationship."
Since tying the knot in May 2006, Spelling and McDermott have welcomed four kids, Liam, 7, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 20 months. But sadly, that didn't stop McDermott from engaging in what became a highly publicized affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand in Dec. 2013.
After news of the affair broke, McDermott publicly apologized for the pain he had caused his family and entered rehab to address his personal issues.
At her home in Los Angeles, Spelling sat down with Us Weekly's Rachel Teitelbaum and spoke of her troubled marriage for a new interview which hits stands on Friday.
During the interview, Spelling explained why she chose to document her marriage struggle in a new Lifetime reality series (True Tori, premiering on April 22), and recounts the devastating moment she confronted McDermott about the affair.
"I feel so judged, but it's not black and white," she said.
